A NEW CLASS! 

My Fall class is now scheduled! it had been moved back to allow for the Reno Tahoe International Art Show that happens on September 14th through the 17th. Go see that show at the Reno Convention Center! Then come to the acrylics class the next week inspired by the amazing art you saw. My class starts on September 22nd and continue until November 17th. There will be new projects, not a repeat of those done currently. Sign ups open on July 1st. My classes fill quickly, so don’t procrastinate!

Fridays 9am-12pm

Discover the playfulness of art by learning to paint with acrylics. Experiment with color theory, composition and design. Use traditional and unconventional methods of applying paint to canvas and board. No previous painting skills are necessary. Supplies required.

NOTE: This class is full. Look for the next class in the Winter session.

Plein Air Workshop

Plans for the second plein air workshop have been postponed due to medical issues in my family. I will hopefully be able to due a workshop again in the summer of 2024.

This workshop will be held in the park area next to the Truckee River in downtown Reno.  The Workshop will be open to beginning  through experienced acrylic or watercolor painters. We  will be painting scenes along the river in the  morning from 9 to 12, eat sack lunches and,  as a bonus, I will conduct a sculpture tour the  first afternoon and a Nevada Museum tour  the second day. The third day will be lunch  (participants pay) at a local restaurant when  we will share our paintings. The workshop  will be from 10 to 15 participants. The cost  is $150 per person which will include the  museum entrance fee.
