Winter Moon

Winter Moon is an encaustic painting. It is created by melting beeswax and adding pigment to paint on an encaustic board surface. I was experimenting with this technique and will be doing more in the future. Two of my encaustics, Nevada Mountains and Success Loop are showing this month at The Artist's Co-op Gallery in Reno. This piece will be showing next month at Artsy Fartsy Gallery in Carson City. The price is $100 for this 5x7 painting. Encaustics are by necessity small.
