Into the Blue, Out of the Blue

This was a fun piece to do! I started with tissue paper then added acrylic paints and gels in layers ending with copper paint applied with a cake decorating tool and some metal foil. I love the rich surface that resulted. This piece is 18x24 and done on illustraton board but finished with layers of acrylic gel which creates an impermeable surface. It sells for $700 framed.
